Job description
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on finance professional to support the leadership and execution of the Finance & Accounting function, ensuring strong financial reporting, controls, compliance and effective business support.
Responsibilities
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting operations.
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and compliance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
- Review financial information and provide actionable business insights.
- Support effective financial governance and documentation.
- Partner with operational teams on financial and business requirements.
- Support process improvement and greater efficiency within Finance.
- Guide and support the Finance & Accounting team in day-to-day execution.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
- Strong hands-on financial management and accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, compliance and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading finance teams.
- Experience within FMCG/manufacturing or another complex operating environment will be an advantage.
