We are looking for a Business Development Officer who wil play a key role in expanding the general insurance portfolio hence driving the growth and success of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring profitable new business through Saccos & MFIs and implementing strategies to help achieve the company's sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquiston or new SACCO and MFI partnership
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partrners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to develop and implement business development strategies
•Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets per Month
- Increasing dient base
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements for the company
•Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
•Researching business opportunities and viable income
Monitor industry trends and market conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Marketing and any other Business related field.
- Significant progress in professional papers. i.e. (Diploma in Insurance, CIM etc.)
- At least 4 Years of experience in Business Development specificaly General Business, sales or related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements
