Role Overview
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role oversees all aspects of accounting, tax, and financial analysis, providing insights that support sound decision-making and operational efficiency. The accountant will work closely with the Chief Accountant at Elex Products Ltd to ensure full alignment and transparency in financial management.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Prepare, examine and analyse financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and semi-annual management reports.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, and the general ledger.
• Generate financial reports and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that optimise operational efficiency, safeguard assets, and mitigate financial risks.
• Prepare yearly audit reports.

Education and Experience Level:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA (K) or ACCA qualification required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Zoho and Excel (pivot tables, advanced analysis).
